Symantec: Spammers Target Social Networking

Symantec: Spammers Target Social Networking- Antivirus vendor: Symantec reported the analysis of the social networking spam between April and June 2011.

From these studies, identified that the spam follows a cyclical pattern among a number of social media sites are observed.

Analysts also observed a sudden spike in the number of attacks targetted Facebook.
